This product is 100% hand stitched, and hand embroidered using traditional skills from Gujarat. The fabric used is dye free and bleach free to not to contribute to water pollution\ consumption. It is not just beautiful, but a thoughtful product made keeping the individuality of the maker in mind. It is co designed by the designer- who understands the market requirement and the artisan who has these amazing skills. It is made in a studio where up-cycling and zero waste is the inspiration to design. Any irregularity is a result of truly following handmade process. Definitely we try to maintain all sustainable aspects during the production-material-process and the maker. Specially the maker. Because we believe what is the point of making a sustainable product if the maker isn't happy.

Technique:
We felt like adding some changes to our designs and kasim was the best fit here; its natural, uses less water during the process, dye was naturally made, and last but not the least results in black color. We’ve always used a single technique of embroidery per design, but this will be something you’ve not seen. YET. We’re bringing the combination of different embroideries in our Kasim project.
Since the application of Kasim dye is not as effortless as any other painting medium. While working on samples for Kasim, we had an idea to use those samples that were as random as possible to make tikda & use it to generate an abstract surface, thoughtfully leveraging the technique to achieve our desired outcomes.
Initially, there was Faant(Running stitch) going all around the shirt with black color that was done directly by the Artisan without any markings which gave a bit of a breaking touch to make it continuous we added red color Faant that connects both tikda & tikdis.
Did you notice any bicycle popup on the shirt?
Fabric: Dye Free, Bleach Free Hand-Woven 100% Cotton Fabric. The small piece of fabrics used for surface ornamentations are used from scrap material.
Wash Care: Gentle machine wash.
Advice: Do not iron for more original look of the fabric. Shake off the wrinkles before line dry. It will save on the electricity!
Shipping: It will take approximately 10-12 days to ship; from the day payment is received. After an order is placed, you shall receive a confirmation, tentative date of dispatch and tracking details time to time. Within India the delivery will take 8 to 10 days and international delivery will take from 12 to 15 days to reach from the day of dispatch.
