Suf- A counted thread embroidery, where warp & weft are counted to form motifs.
While working with Suf we met Urmila ben and Nirali, two of our artisans who wanted to try something different than what they have been doing regularly. We randomly asked Urmila ben to make Lizard using Suf technique. She was amazed in the beginning but did work on the Lizard that you see on one of the badges. Similarly, a Scorpio, Ant, Beetle, Camel and Mor (Peacock) were developed. Where Nirali's specialty is tiniest Suf Kidi (Ant).
